WHAT ARE LOGIC GATES | TYPES OF LOGIC GATES | DEFINITION | FUNCTION – Computers have a characteristic logic. It can be implemented by certain types of electrons. Such circles are called digital gates. Yes, there is another type of integrated circuit.

The fact is that there are many different types of digital gates at the root of many complex electrical circuits in computers.

There are generally six types of them, they are NOT, OR, AND, NOR, NAND, XOR. Certain types of logical actions are carried out with the help of these gates.

Although there are mainly six types of gates, they can be made from a single gate called ‘Nand’.

So you will find that the basic component of many circuits in a computer is the NAND gate.

TRUTH TABLE

The ‘Truth Table’ table shows what kind of logic each gate implements. Truth tables are written assuming that this gate has one input and one output, while all other gates have two inputs and one output.

Virtually any gate can have more than two inputs. The truth table uses right and wrong words for input and output.

These two words have no such practical meaning. Instead, write one and zero, or high and low voltage. Now see how the logic of each gate works:

NOT Gate simply means the opposite! The output of this gate is opposite to the input. If the input has a high voltage, the output is low. Or if the input has a low voltage, the output is high.

NOR Gate argues against OR Gate. Suppose there are two conditions for something, then one or both of them meet the right decision in OR Gate.
